Take a look at the picture on the left. That’s me at nearly 300 lbs (295 to be exact), sitting down for breakfast (note the waffles, croissants, bread, syrup, butter, cheese and sausages) on Christmas morning a few years ago. That was the most unhealthy I’ve ever been. I was unhappy, uncomfortable, unattractive and was suffering from chronic back and knee pain, as well as serious digestive problems. At a BMI of 37.5, I was obese. Oh, and on top of that I was smoking almost 2 packs a day, had started drinking heavily and I was seriously depressed. One day I woke up and looked at myself in the mirror and realized that I was slowly killing myself…letting my body fall apart more every day.
I was tired of the constant discomfort I felt every day, hiding behind baggy pants and sweatshirts even through the heat of summer. It was at that point that I became committed to transforming my body…to becoming the person I always wanted to be and to finally being HAPPY. See that on the right? That’s me…100 lbs lighter.
I’ll tell you right now, the fact that you’re here reading this page means that somewhere inside of you is the will and desire to change. Whether you want to lose 10 lbs or 100, you’ve made the decision to start that process. Maybe it’s because you no longer fit into your favourite pair of pants, or maybe you’re digging to the back of the rack when you go shopping to pull out the L, XL or even XXL sizes. Maybe you’re sick of being scared of summer and want to feel comfortable on the beach. Or maybe it’s that fear you have of not being healthy enough to be there for your family, friends and loved ones.
Whatever your reason is, I’m here to tell you one thing:
